june passes by so fast. went for my first ever reservist during the 1st
2 weeks.initially when i received the callup letter,i was cursing under
my breath.i thought the army had forgotten my existence.but apparently
they have some ideas up their sleeve by setting up this new 'security
company'.i cant say much.top security and information you know~ haha.
anyway it was a welcome break away from the hectic work at office. made
some new friends and had a surprising enjoyable time(totally opposite
from what i had expected).

back in the office for a week and therafter i was assigned to an oversea
business trip in hongkong for a new business implementation.it was a nice
experience over there and indeed,hk is the city of asia.its skyline is
simply beautiful,especially in the night.

finally have some time and the mood to blog abit.

a quick flashback on some recent events that occurred during the last crazy and hectic quarter of 07.

*passed all 5 modules of the advance cert in applied psychology.another step towards the diploma course.this diploma module will be a project based assignment.topic is abt the gen-Y workers.not too bad, at least something i can relate to.another 3-4 mths to go before i graduate.

*applied,interviewed and successfully got another position within my company.definitely one of the most happening event for me in 07' because it is one that will most probably change my life in future.the new jobscope will be something similar to what im doing now.But its at a different level and definitely more challenging.its a higher grade job so the $ is better too. and more things to learn and more stress i guess.shall try my very best to overcome this new challange ahead.am gonna miss my old dept very much.

*got to know some colleagues better as well.crazy,funny and fun loving people.

*my future house at punggol,coralinus is all "lego-ed" up.they are doing the painting now.1 more year and i believe it should be more or less be complete and ready.

*changed my hp from n70 to nokia 6500s.

*catch up on all episodes of heroes from season 1 till season 2.almost as good as prisonbreak.

*stocked up on shirts/pants/ties.hehe

and somehow,im in the mood for keane's songs.listen to these songs in a row and it gives me a surreal and eerie feeling.perhaps this is how year 07 is for me.

had an early badminton session at 9am. felt so much better after wacking those shuttlecocks and sweating it out. badminton session is almost a weekly affair now with my kakis.

badminton at hougang sports hall! wow..1st time i see so many courts in 1 place.ok la..i suaku la...hehe...

the flooring is parquet instead of normal ceramic.but its more ex compared to the community club, $7.60 per hour instead of $3-5. But courts are more readily available as there are so many of it.

stoopig exam!!! instead of the usual choose 4 out of 6 questions(which we were told),the format became 2 out of 2 compulsory essay question type! damnit...and the best part is, these 2 questions are merely just 10%,or maybe even less,of what was taught throughtout this whole module.then wats the use of giving us so much notes.pls spare the trees and save the papers next time. or better still,get a lecturer who is more knowledgeable on this module!!!

the 1st hour of the show is kinda draggy,but it actually brings out the depth in characters especially in peter parker and mary jane. the show starts to get exciting halfway thru and a grand finale towards the end. there are some touching moments in it and i do know of some pple who actually cried during the end. yeah,i gotta admit my eyes were kinda wet too...sobs sobs...

was frigging warm n humid last night, so much so that i cant get to sleep.was actually lying on the bed at 1130pm and all the way till 1am,only then i doze off.but woke up at 4am plus and din manage to sleep well till the irritating alarm clock buzz off at 6+.

linkin park is back with a brand new album! minutes to midnight!

but as i run thru every track, seems like there is not a single outstanding
track. sianz...gone are the nu-metal vibes except for "what i've done",
"2 worlds" and...and...no more!argh!now they sound like an ordinary
alternative rock band! give me my dose of nickleback or hinder anytime,
if that's the case.

phew!~got my result in class today.hehe...i got a B (again).come to tink of it, my O levels got mostly 5Bs!i got B for the past 2 modules of this psychology course too!and now,another one.hmmm...

anyway,it was a powerful evening of learning.this module talks abt organizational behaviour and work psychology.very very interesting.from the way an organization view things from the top to handling conflicts, interpersonal relations, etc. it is definitely relevant and useful to my job.as usual, can't wait for the next lesson.its great to be able to gain new knowledge and insights.

my pc is alive...ALIVE!!!

went sim lim to buy a new hard disk, seagate 160gig.wanted to buy a 320gig actually but was informed that the older motherboards can only support up to a certain amount of hard disk.damn~ anyway,went home and got it fixed up. and it is ok now!no more linux's penquin to see!and again, it makes me realise how we are all so dependent on windows OS(unless you are an apple user).
